Chris Genard

Chris Genard has been investing in real estate for over 10 years. Chris currently manages a rental portfolio of numerous commercial, single family and multi-family unit dwellings along with running a successful residential and commercial acquisition and development company. After working in corporate America for over 10yrs as a Territory Manager for a large medical device manufacturer Chris realized that this was a long path to a comfortable retirement and strived for something better which led him to Real Estate. Chris’s experience has allowed him with an acute ability to identify profitable real estate projects that provide both long and short term returns to his investment partners through passive and speculative investments. Chris is a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La and is an active member in the investment community. Chris is a licensed Louisiana Real Estate Agent and member of the New Orleans Metropolitan board of Realtors. Chris is also a board member of the New Orleans Real Estate Investment Association as a Marketing Director. Through his community involvement Chris has educated and mentored many new real estate investors and has been a part of over 150 real estate transactions during his career.

Chris is a lifelong resident of the city of the New Orleans. Chris has been actively rebuilding the New Orleans community since the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2006. The aftermath of Hurricane Katrina provided the opportunity for local builders to bring New Orleans back to the thriving city it is today. Chris has developed over 500 homes throughout the Greater New Orleans Area. For Chris there is no greater satisfaction then to see the expressions from our customers after they have purchased the home of their dreams!

As an owner in Nu Homes Nola Chris oversees the Marketing and Acquisition Departments within our company. Chris is constantly targeting new areas to develop with the goal of providing new affordable housing stock to our local communities.

Chris has active memberships in the Louisiana Homebuilders Association, New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors , and the New Orleans Real Estate Investors Association. Chris is also active in many local neighborhood associations. Chris has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a Minor in Real Estate from Louisiana State University.

When Chris is not working he enjoys hunting and fishing in the Sportsman’s Paradise of Louisiana. Chris is also a die-hard LSU Tiger and New Orleans Saints Fan. Geaux Tigers!

Ryan Dicharry

Ryan Dicharry, A Baton Rouge native and a graduate of Louisiana State University College of Engineering with a degree in Construction Management 2001. Ryan’s real training in the construction industry came from working with his step dad building houses. Back in those days the contractors did most of the work themselves. He has hands on training in every aspect of residential construction.

In 2004, Ryan Dicharry was one of the founding members of Didan Contractors LLC. Didan was a residential builder based in Baton Rouge, LA. Didan built over 50 homes in the Baton Rouge Area. In 2006 Didan was on of the developers of Thibodaux’s most sought after developments “Abby Lakes”. This development was a one of a kind for Thibodaux. Over the next 4 years Ryan Dicharry was directly involved in the design and construction of over 100 houses in Abby Lakes. In 2009 Ryan formed Ryan Dicharry Construction LLC. Ryan Dicharry Construction focused its efforts in Lafourche Parish building hundreds of houses and developing several subdivisions such as Crescent Estates Phases 1 thru 5 and St. John Place. To this day Ryan Dicharry Construction is one of the largest builders in Thibodaux building anywhere between 30-50 houses per year.

In 2012 Ryan partnered up with one of his best friends Chris Genard to form Nu Homes LLC and Genard-Dicharry Construction. Ryan oversees the production side of the companies. He is in charge of the estimating, purchasing, and production departments. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is an avid hunter and fisherman.

Danielle Sercovich

Danielle was raised in New Orleans and recently moved back to the city. Danielle has been involved in residential development and construction for over 25 years.

As the bookkeeper in NuHomes, Danielle oversees the accounting within our company

Danielle studied Business Administration at Holy Cross College and Psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi.

When Danielle is not working she enjoys landscaping and spending time with her daughter exploring New Orleans and its historic homes. Danielle is also a life long LSU Tiger fan.

Martin Glavina

Martin was born and raised in New Orleans and currently resides in Metairie. Martin has had hands on experience in all phases of construction, design, and supervision of both residential and commercial projects over the last 35 years. The projects include, new construction, renovations, restoration, custom cabinet building, and yacht interiors.

Martin spent 13 years as an Interior Coordinator with Trinity Yachts, the third largest Mega Yacht builder in the world. He supervised, designed, developed, and coordinated information for all trades necessary for fabrication, construction and installation of the interiors. His diverse experience in the construction field has developed an attention to detail and an eye for quality workmanship.

At Nu Homes, Martin is responsible for estimating, production scheduling, and quality control.

Martin enjoys working on projects with his children and grandchildren and spending time with his family.
